WBO heavyweight champion and WBC Alexander Usik began preparations for the final fight of the World Boxing Super Series (WBSS) against the Russian Murat Gassiev.

The athlete went with his team to the first training camp. This time the training camp of the Ukrainian will be in Barcelona. For the first time the training of a boxer takes place in Spain, earlier Usik was preparing either in Ukraine or in the USA.

Note that the battle of Usik-Gassiyev is scheduled for May 11 in Saudi Arabia.

The winner of the fight will receive the belt The Ring, champion titles by WBC, WBO, WBA, IBF, as well as a special cup of Mohammed Ali.
