The prosecutor of the Sverdlovsk region Sergei Okhlopkov proposed to Governor Yevgeny Kuyvashev a recipe for saving children from large families in fires.

As the press service of the oblast prosecutor's office informs, the last months were clouded by the mass death of children on fire. Moreover, often children from large families die. So, on December 5, 2017 in the village of Novoipatovo Sysert District, a private house was burned down, the fire took the lives of the father of the family born in 1984 and his three children of 2002, 2004 and 2016 of birth. February 18, 2018 burned apartment in the house on concrete, its victims were children 2013, 2015 and 2016 years of birth. On February 24, 2018, a house burned down in the village of Blagoveshchenskoye, Turin GO, the children of 2014, 2015 and 2018 of their birth were killed.

All children were brought up in large families, poor, but well-off.

According to the Ministry of Social Policy of the Sverdlovsk Region, more than 51,500 live in the region. large families. At the same time, there are 792 large families in a socially dangerous situation, they do not have enough money to install fire detectors.

To date, such detectors have been installed in residential homes of large families only in four municipalities - Krasnoufimsk, Pervouralsk, Sukhom Log and Mikhailovsk. In other regions, for example, in the Moscow, Omsk and Sakhalin regions, the republics of Bashkortostan and Tatarstan, large families are set up by the regional budgets as an additional measure of social support.

Okhlopkov invited Kuyvashev to consider the introduction of a similar measure of social support for families in socially dangerous situations, as well as large families and low-income families with many children at the expense of the budget of the Sverdlovsk region.
