The popular French actor Jean Reno came to Ukraine to star in the film "The Last Step". This was reported by the head of the State Committee of Ukraine Philip Ilyenko on his Facebook page.

Ilyenko stressed that cooperation with the stars of this scale is the next stage in the development of the Ukrainian film industry.

"I had the honor personally to congratulate Jean Reno on his arrival in the Carpathians for the filming of the Ukrainian-French film The Last Step," he wrote. Jean Reno will play the main role in the film "The Last Step". This tape will be the final in his film career. In the story, Jean Reno plays an anonymous hired killer Henry, who enjoys a lonely retirement on the shore of a small remote lake in Canada. The girl at death, after a serious motorcycle accident, finds shelter in his chalet.

His colleagues on the set will also be Ukrainian actors Igor Tsishkevich, Margarita Burkovskaya, Oleg Karpenko and others.
