Tonight, the world premiere of the Ukrainian film "When the trees are falling" was held at the Berlinale Film Festival, the "TSN".
This is the first feature film directed by Maryssy Nikityuk, partially financed by the Goskino, as well as by foundations in Poland and Macedonia.
The main role in the picture was played by a four-year-old actress, and adult heroes of the tape amazed by frank intimate scenes.
The events unfold in the Ukrainian village, where everyone knows each other and where the main thing is that the neighbors will think and people will say. In the center of events - a young couple in love. He is from crime, and therefore the girl's family is categorically against the relationship. The main characters want to escape from stereotypes and live their lives.
The audience sees the story through the eyes of the younger sister of the heroine, her director partially wrote off herself.
I did not miss my first film premiere and the young star of the tape Sonia Khalimova. The role was chosen from hundreds of competitors.
The first experience of the gaming full-scale movie became for adult actors. Most of them are still students. Playing love and crazy passion for young actors was not easy.
But the public efforts of the actors and the whole team appreciated. The film in Berlin took the heat. In Ukrainian film "When the trees fall" will be released in autumn.
A lot of directors for years offend the thresholds of selectors to get to the film festival of class A, which is "Berlinale". Ukrainka Marysya Nikityuk got into the program of the film festival on the first attempt, having removed her debut feature film. This year this is the only movie from Ukraine. But, at least, Marysya has every chance to return to Berlin in the future - local critics have generously called the director the hope of the Ukrainian kinemetograph.
Recall, the 68th Berlinale Berlin Film Festival started on February 15 in the German capital. Within 10 days there will be shown almost 400 films from around the world.
