The corresponding decision was made today, February 14, at a government meeting.

In this case, the people's representatives have chosen specific measures for 2018 aimed at: increasing the effectiveness of the employment policy; increase of people's income; ensuring access of the population to social services; minimization of poverty risks; social exclusion of the most vulnerable groups of the population.

The Cabinet is confident that the implementation of these measures will contribute to the achievement of poverty reduction targets. It is also planned to achieve European standards of living, creating special conditions for eliminating the alienation of certain groups of the population.

As previously reported in URA-Inform, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine at the meeting approved a report on the progress and results of the government's program of activities in 2017.
