Spanish researchers reported that eating fried foods on sunflower or olive oil is not related to diseases of the cardiovascular system and premature death.

For 10 years scientists have studied this issue. The study involved 41 thousand people aged 29-69 years who do not have problems with the cardiovascular system. Researchers carefully studied the dietary habits of the participants in the experiment, which were divided into 4 groups, depending on the amount of consumption of roasted.

The study found that in the Mediterranean countries, where food is cooked in olive oil, experts have not found a link between eating fried foods and heart disease.

Experts also noted that in Spain food is cooked with sunflower or olive oil, therefore, the results of the study may not be applicable to countries where other types of oils are used for cooking. In Western countries, for example, on several times used oil and on solid oils prepare fast food.
