Employees of the Security Service detained an Azerbaijani in the Dnipropetrovsk region, who in his country is accused of fraud and declared in the international wanted list. As reported by the Chief, this is reported by the press service of the SBU.

"Employees of the Security Service of Ukraine have detained a citizen of Azerbaijan in Kamenskoye in the Dnipropetrovsk region, who was on the international wanted list through Interpol," the statement said..

According to the SBU, in Azerbaijan a man is accused of committing a crime under the article "Fraud with causing significant and especially large damage" of the country's criminal code.

"The operatives of the special services established that in Ukraine the attacker planned to start activities that harm the national interests of our state, in particular in the economic and ethno-confessional spheres," the special services.

Now the foreigner is in custody, the issue of his extradition to Azerbaijan.
