According to the press secretary of the IOC, Mark Adams, the IOC control committee will carefully study the case of each athlete and then the eligible candidates will be asked to again undergo a doping test.

Recall that the winter Olympics begins six days later, on February 9, 2018 in South Korea in the city of Pyeongchang. Earlier, the IOC allowed Russian athletes to take part in competitions under the flags of other countries after the Sports Arbitration Court did not allow 28 athletes who did not pass the doping control to take part in the Olympics.

For the first time in the Olympics, North Korean athletes will also participate in the athletes from South Korea.
