The Netherlands is more than ready to introduce unmanned vehicles, according to the rating of the analytical company KPMG, says EuroPulse.

The Netherlands already has a well-developed road infrastructure, which will make it easy to switch to unmanned transport. Wireless devices are already common, which automatically regulate traffic (for example, automatic checkpoints); roads are of high quality (which is important for unmanned vehicles) and sufficient density. What is very important, there are no contradictions in the legislation (which would prohibit the use of drones), and society is ready to transfer control of cars and other vehicles to robots.

In addition, the Netherlands - the country with the highest density in the world of filling stations for electric cars: in 2016 there were more than 26 thousand. It is planned that cars of the future, including unmanned vehicles, will mainly travel by electricity.

The top five European countries also included Sweden and the United Kingdom (on the 4th and 5th place). The second and third place was taken by Singapore and the United States.

The rating assessed the state of technology and innovation, infrastructure, consumer perception of consumers, legislation and the political situation. Russia took the 18th place out of 20, overtaking only India and Mexico.
