The United States, thanks to the new doctrine, creates an unfavorable field for the development of the Russian economy.

"The formation of the new American deterrent doctrine facilitates the reproduction of" sectoral sanctions "against Russia, which are aimed at solving the triune task: limiting Russia's ability to refinance its public debt, banning the import of advanced technologies to the military industrial complex in Russia, banning the import of equipment for the oil and gas industry, - she notes.

Shevtsova also writes that the strategy allows us to introduce "secondary sanctions" against those individuals and companies that will cooperate with persons from the sanctions list or with parastatals.

"America creates an extremely unfavorable field around Russia for the development of its economy and for the satisfaction of the interests of its ruling class, personally integrated into Western society," summarizes Shevtsova.
