Employees of the State Border Service of Ukraine in the checkpoint "Kherson-Avia" detained a Turkish citizen, who is wanted by Interpol, the press service of the State Fire Service.

A Turkish citizen arrived in Kherson on January 24, a flight from Istanbul. During the verification of documents, border guards of the Kherson border detachment found out that the guest was wanted by the Interpol line.

It is reported that this person is sought by French law enforcement agencies for the commission of a criminal offense connected with the illegal traffic in narcotic drugs.

Detained by the border guards, the Turkish citizen was transferred to the representatives of the National Police of Ukraine.
