The Court of Appeals of London on Monday, January 22, began to consider the dispute between Ukraine and Russia on Eurobonds amounting to $ 3 billion, told DW in court. The judges began considering the appeal of Kiev to the decision of the High Court of London, which had previously obliged Ukraine to pay the nominal value of the bonded loan to the Russian side, as well as a coupon of $ 75 million and late payment interest.

According to the Court of Appeal, the hearing will last for the next five days, but the decision may be postponed for up to three months. "This is a normal practice in such large cases," the court explained.
