Star defile from Prada, Versace and Valentino - 20-year-old Ukrainian Igor Lubchenko - was on the list of eight most promising models of the world according to the New York Times. Now in Paris there is a Week of men's fashion, and Lyubchenko is in the spotlight. With Igor TSN met at 8 am. His day is painted on minutes - 5 castings, fitting and showing for Valentino. And this is still a calm environment, he laughs.
"The most stressful day was just a few days ago literally in Milan. I woke up at 5 am, made 15 castings for the whole day, after that I was fitting, which ended at one in the morning, "says Igor.
Today, the guy barely has time to accept offers from all interested brands, and a few years ago a guy from a small town in Mykolayiv, who was finishing school in Khotov near Kiev, did not even imagine himself in the pages of famous glossies.
"He did not even like to be photographed, when we found out, we were very happy for him, we are proud," says his classmate.
Igor got into the model world thanks to a chance meeting. In 2014, the guy moved with his parents to live in Poland. It was there, right on the street, to him came the scout from the modeling agency. This day is forever remembered by Igor's mother.
"I still insisted on studying that I must go to school, because he is also studying, and he told me - my mother I have a chance now and I should try," admits the mother.
Trial casting Igor failed, but this did not discourage his interest. He sent his photos to the agency and chose AS Management. Already in the first season, the guy defiled in Milan for Prada. Although emphasizes that you should not relax, because in the fashion world, not everything is easy to predict.
"We must be prepared for various twists of fate, because in the modeling business there are no guarantees, no one guarantees the work," - says Lyubchenko.
Inconspicuous Parisian building, a huge apartment, she and the show room - it's where the casting takes place. Igor came one of the first, so everything quickly turned into fitting and rehearsal of the defile. Igor tells how he keeps himself in shape.
"You know, I do not stick to any diets. I eat anything, and it does not affect my weight, does not affect my physique in any way. This is a very big plus in the modeling business, "- says the guy.
Model business is a volatile environment, Igor points out philosophically. Asserts, this career is not forever. In 10 years he sees himself in big business, but for now he is going to "take everything from the profession".
In a month you can see Igor in the advertising campaign of one world-famous brand, the truth of which, he did not admit, intrigued.
