Fried mackerel in a roll with greens, onions and lemon juice is served in one portion in a paper bag. The most famous place for selling balyk ekmek is Eminenu wharf, where the dish is cooked on boats. The standard price in tourist places is 10 lire ($ 2.5), in non-tourist places you can find five.
The fish is cooked directly in front of the tourist, then served with different salines. Tourists who come to Turkey not only to sunbathe on the resort beaches, must visit this place. It is also popular, as are excursions or tours to historical places of the country.
