Ecuador is going to expel the founder of WikiLeaks Julian Assange from his embassy in London. This is reported by the Daily Mail with reference to its own sources.
According to the publication, the president of the country, Lenin Moreno, is angry with Assange's tweets about the allies of the Ecuadorian leader. Quito is currently seeking a mediator to negotiate with London on the deportation of Assange from the embassy.
In late December it became known that Assange disappeared from Twitter. It was not specified whether the account was blocked by microblogging tech support or it was deleted by the founder of WikiLeaks himself. Some users believe that the profile of Assange cracked by unknown hackers, and then deleted it.
Julian Assange is in the embassy of Ecuador in London since June 2012. There he found refuge, fearing the extradition of Sweden, where he was charged with rape. In May 2017, the investigation was terminated, but Assange is still afraid of extradition to the Swedish authorities, since Stockholm will transfer it to the US, where he may face the death penalty because of the publication of classified information.
