Ukraine will get rid of the need to use coal anthracite group for energy needs in 2018. This was stated by the Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine Igor Nasalik. "Over the year, we managed to reduce coal consumption of the anthracite group by half, and this is thanks to, among other things, Ukrhydroenergo". The plans for 2018 are to reduce the use of the anthracite group to 3 million tons, and in 2019 we will not have the need for anthracite coal, that is, the task that has been set for diversification will be completely fulfilled, "said Nasalik.
