Rose Marie Mazetta was born in New York and began her career at the age of three under the pseudonym Malyshka Rose Marie.
The peak of her fame as a singer came in the period 1929-1934, when she regularly performed in vaudeville, led her own show on the radio and appeared in many motion pictures of the studio Paramount.
In the early fifties, Rose Marie began her career as an actress and in 1954 she starred in the musical film Top Banana, after which she also began appearing on television in such TV series as "Smoke from the trunk".
She became known for her serials, "My Sister Eileen". Participated in the "Dick Van Dyke Show" and three times nominated for the Emmy Award. Also, Rose starred in the sitcom "Show Doris Day," the series "The Boat of Love," "Remington Steel," and "Murphy Brown".
