Russia needed to legalize aggression in the Crimea. This opinion was expressed on Thursday, December 28, during the interrogation as a witness of the prosecution in the Obolonsky district court of the city of Kiev in the case of treason Yanukovych former deputy from the party "Fatherland" Andrei Senchenko.

According to him, what was stated in this statement, in fact, contradicts the agreement signed by Yanukovich, even in the part of assessments. The agreement recognized that there is a serious crisis from which it is necessary to go, and in circulation from March 1 there are unequivocal, completely untrue charges, for example, about the persecution in the Crimea and the Donbass on political and linguistic grounds, "said Senchenko. He also assured that Yanukovych was not going to comply with the agreement with the opposition on February 21, 2014.

As of February 22, 2014, many then-ministers, deputy ministers and 77 of the 186 deputies of the Party of Regions faction had already left Ukraine. Thus, they demonstrated that the blame for what is happening lies with Yanukovych, "the politician said adding that the flight of his supporters caused such a reaction and flight from the country.

At the same time, Yanukovych's lawyer Vitaly Serdyuk repeatedly interrupted Senchenko, stating that his judgments are subjective and false, which violates the oath of a witness.

In turn, prosecutors protested against such actions of the defender, and even demanded the court to bring him to disciplinary responsibility for violation of the rules of the court session and lawyer ethics.

Recall, as reported URA-Inform, today Obolonsky court continued to consider the case of Viktor Yanukovych.
