One of them is East Makanovichi, and the second is West Girovskoe. As reported on Thursday, December 28, BelTA, referring to its sources in the company Belorusneft, both deposits are located in the Rechitsa district of the Gomel region.

At the East Makanovichskoye field, oil was found at a depth of 4.2 thousand meters as a result of exploratory well drilling.

When testing in an open trunk, an inflow of more than ten cubic meters per day. At the same time, according to preliminary calculations, geological reserves at the field are estimated at 876 thousand tons, recoverable reserves - 389 thousand tons.

Now work is underway on this field to develop the well, and in January its operation will begin.

It is noted that the discovery of the East Makanovichskoye field confirmed the prospect of exploratory drilling of the peak of the Azeretsko-Khobninsk tectonic level.

Recall, as reported URA-Inform, the Belarusian company Belorusneft reported on the opening of a new oil field - called Ugolskoye.

The deposit was discovered within the intermediate block of the Rechitsko-Vishansky fault of the Pripyat Trough. During the exploratory drilling of the Ugolskaya structure, a search hole of 5,218 meters deep gave an inflow of 39.5 tons of oil per day.
