According to her, the budget for 2018, which is 221.9 billion USD, provides for an increase in teachers' salaries. And the volume of educational subvention increased by 11.2 billion and amounted to 61.7 billion UAH.

The minister said that at the start of the reform in the budget of 2018, almost one billion UAH was laid to provide primary school students. Namely educational tools and mobile furniture, 163 million 818 thousand. - for the purchase of equipment for the primary school, 386.5 million - for teacher training, 272 million 382 thousand. - for textbooks for 1st grade.

Also 48 million 349.5 thousand. provided for the purchase of educational and methodological literature for primary classes.

Summing up the results of 2017, she stressed the tendency of increasing funding for education.

As previously reported in URA-Inform, Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman said that the recalculation of pensions should be held again in 2019. According to Groisman, another recalculation of pensions for Ukrainian citizens will occur in 2019, and not as politicians once did.
