It is noted that the list of sanctions included Deputy Director of the North Korean Defense Industry Division Chong Sik Kim and First Deputy Director of the Department of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea Pyong Chol Ri.

According to preliminary information it became known that these persons were part of the management of ballistic missile programs.

The American leader has repeatedly stated his readiness to take action against the DPRK. Thus, during a speech at the UN Trump threatened to completely destroy North Korea, if it threatens the United States.

Over the past few months, the US has significantly increased the sanctions pressure on the DPRK. In total, under the Trump administration, the United States has added more than 70 people and companies to the North Korea sanctions list.

As previously reported in URA-Inform, the United Nations sanctions will only accelerate the development of nuclear weapons in North Korea. So, Pyongyang once again stated that Washington and the whole world community want to destroy the DPRK and the entire North Korean people, the countries are increasingly struggling to impose the most severe sanctions on us.
