The State Agency for Energy Efficiency and Energy Conservation of Ukraine has published weighted average tariffs for thermal energy produced using natural gas for the population and budgetary institutions, as well as tariffs for transportation and supply of thermal energy. This was reported in the press service of the State Energy Efficiency. It is noted that, based on these calculations, local governments can set tariffs for heating companies from renewable sources at 90% of the average tariffs. In addition, the State Energy Efficiency added that the Law of Ukraine on the promotion of heat production from renewable sources introduced a simplified and transparent procedure for setting tariffs for heat "not from gas".

It should be noted that in 2016 the Cabinet of Ministers obliged enterprises of heat and energy to charge a heating fee for consumers in houses without heat meters, based on average indicators of heat consumption in houses equipped with heat meters, provided that at least 50% of houses.

The average tariffs for heating were announced in the State Energy Efficiency.
