According to media reports, Manchester City is negotiating with its midfielder Fernandinho to extend the contract, which expires at the end of this season.

Nevertheless, as exclusively reported by Goal, the 32-year-old Brazilian has already signed the new agreement, which is calculated until the end of the 2018/19 season. In addition, the club will have the option of extending the contract for another season.

Although the "citizens" have not yet made an official statement, the source claims that all documents have already been signed by both parties.

Fernandinho is one of the key players of his team this season and Pep Guardiola repeatedly honored the Brazilian of various praises.

In the current season, Fernandinho spent 24 matches for Manchester City in all tournaments, which scored two goals and gave two assists, receiving five yellow cards.
