Napoli wants to sign the defender Manchester United Matteo Darmiana.

Napoli got in touch with Manchester United to discuss a possible transfer of the flank defender of the "red devils" Matteo Darmian, according to Sky Sport.

The parties have not yet reached an agreement, since the main obstacle is the high salary of the 28-year-old Italian.

Previously reported that the manager of Manchester United Jose Mourinho is ready to part with Darmian.

In the current season, Darmian spent nine games for Manchester United in all tournaments, six of which in the starting lineup.
