It is noted that the government in Tokyo approved the decision to deploy two anti-missile defense complexes Aegis Ashore worth about 100 billion yen each. Such ABM systems will be purchased in the US.

It is assumed that the complexes will operate no later than 2023 in the north of the largest island of the Japanese archipelago Honshu and in Yamaguchi prefecture in the south-west of the same island.

It is envisaged that they will be able to protect the entire country from ballistic missile strikes.

Examination of the possible impact of new complexes on the environment will be carried out in the near future.

As previously reported in URA-Inform, North Korea continues to refuse to negotiate with the US on the reduction of nuclear testing programs. So, Pyongyang asks to leave the country in tranquility and stop pressure on the state.
