In Seoul, the vocalist of the popular South Korean Idol-group SHINee Kim Jonghyon died, "Yonhap". At the time of death, the performer was 27 years old.

In law enforcement agencies note that the musician committed suicide. The cause of death, according to preliminary information, could be poisoning with toxic gases.

The singer was unconscious in a rented apartment in the Cheongdamm area in the south-east of Seoul. An hour and a half before the incident, the musician's sister called the rescue service and reported that her brother was going to commit suicide.

The musician was taken to the nearest hospital where death was recorded.
