In the evening on Saturday, December 16, in the Sobornaya (Sovetskaya) street in Mykolayiv, near the Regional Palace of Culture, a soldier of the Ukrainian army fell into the pit near the children's library.

This "News-N" was reported by eyewitnesses of the incident.

A man walked along the Festival Square towards the Regional Palace of Culture, near the Children's Library No. 2 "Kolobook" a passerby accidentally stepped on a wooden shield that covered the pit of the window of the basement floor of the house. Under the weight of men, rotten boards broke and he fell into the pit. The pit turned out to be more than three meters deep. A failed man suffered serious injuries. According to eyewitnesses who ran to the scene immediately, for about 10 minutes, the victim still showed signs of life. The doctor arrived "fast" went down to him to help, but the man was already dead.

The body of the marine from the pit was taken by the rescuers of the SSNS. From the deceased we could hear the distinct smell of alcohol.

When a man found documents that indicate that he is a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The servicemen of the serviceman who came to the scene told that the deceased is a sergeant-contractor of the Marine Corps unit stationed in the Salt Mikrorayn. He served as the foreman of the battery.
