Interim President of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) Juan Luis Larrea convinced that the Spanish team will not be removed from the World Cup 2018.

"No one is going to drive Spain from Mundialya. It's impossible. And this will not happen. Do you want to eliminate Spain and invite Italy? The Federation conducts routine work. We deservedly won in the selection, and FIFA agrees with this, "- said Larrea, who is quoted by AS.

According to him, FIFA President Gianni Infantino during the meeting said that the previous head of the RFEF, Angel Villar, accused of corruption, sent a letter with a voluntary refusal of office.

Earlier it was reported that FIFA sent a letter to the RFEF with a warning about the possibility of removing the Spanish national team because of the interference of the authorities in the election of the new president of the organization.
