Governor Yevgeny Kuyvashev December 12 congratulated residents of the Sverdlovsk region on one of the most important public holidays - the Day of the Constitution of the Russian Federation, the Governor's Information Policy Department.

"Since the adoption of the Basic Law, almost a quarter of a century has passed. During this time, an active civil society has formed in the country, which has a significant impact on economic and political processes. The emergence of private property and entrepreneurship, the modernization of industry, the introduction of innovative technologies would be impossible without reliance on the principles of the rule of law, "said the head of the region.

The highest value of the Constitution proclaims a person's worthy life, guaranteeing his rights and freedoms. As the governor noted, it is to improve the quality of life of people focused program "Five-Year Development".

Following the course of the President of Russia, who declared the issues of family and youth policy, education and medicine key to the development of the country, in 2017 more than 36 billion rubles were allocated for the implementation of the May decrees of the head of state in the region. The funds are used to increase salaries in the budgetary sector, resettlement of emergency housing, modernization of health care and other purposes. Thanks to systemic measures in the region, there was a record decrease in mortality for the post-Soviet history.

In the coming years, it is planned to bring the Middle Urals into the top three of Russian leaders, to achieve notable improvements in the economy and social sphere. The achievement of this goal, the governor emphasized, depends on each of the Sverdlovsk citizens - on their responsibility, their readiness for creative work for the benefit of their native land.

"I wish the Ural people energy, optimism and confidence in the future, which we are building today for ourselves, our children and grandchildren. I am convinced that the foundation of a strong region, the guarantee of prosperity of the country will always be the rule of law and concern for the well-being of people, "said Evgeny Kuyvashev.

On Constitution Day in the Sverdlovsk region will traditionally be an all-Russian day for the reception of citizens.
