The president of the European Olympic Committee, Janes Kosjanchich, believes that the Russian national team must participate in the 2018 Winter Olympics.

The Slovenian generally believes that Russia was punished inappropriately, because among those who were out of the competition, there are "clean" athletes.

"Everyone who has committed a doping violation must be punished according to the principle of zero tolerance. But I'm very concerned that punish those who did not break anything.

The decision on the participation of athletes in the Games-2018 under the neutral flag and without any national symbols also seems to me quite contradictory.

It is obvious that Russian athletes will compete in much more harsh conditions than representatives of other countries, and this is very controversial. At tournaments as high as the Olympics, I would like to see that all athletes are on equal terms. Russia is the largest country in the world, and without it in sports it is not possible to reach such a high level (competition). In any case, the cold war in the sport is not needed, "said Kosjanich.

Recall that the IOC decided not to allow the Russian team to OI-2018, which will be held in the South Korean city of Pyeongchang. It should be noted that, because of doping, the IOC has already seized 11 medals from Russia, which they earned at the 2014 Olympics.
