Pavel Klimkin said that the Ukrainian Zarobitchans make a significant contribution to the economy of Poland. The head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry told journalists on "112 Ukraine", commenting on the statement of the Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Moravetsky concerning a large number of Ukrainian refugees in Poland.
Note that earlier Moravetsky said that Poland, "taking Ukrainian refugees, helps relieve tension on the eastern flank of the European Union".
Klimkin, commenting on Moravetsky's statement, noted that Ukrainians are saving the Polish economy.
"We (the Ukrainians, - Ed.. ) really save the Polish economy, because the Ukrainians work there. I know cases when Ukrainians are offered a large salary, because they are more flexible, very focused on what they are doing ".
Also the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry noted that, according to the estimates of the department, now in Poland there are about 1 million Ukrainians,.
"The Foreign Ministry estimates that almost 1 million Ukrainians in Poland. So who saves whom? In this sense, we are saving the Polish economy. But with our Polish friends we will always talk with friends on all issues, including the issue of our historical memory, "added Klimkin.
Recall that the new Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Moravetsky on the very first day of the statement as head of the Cabinet said that relations with Ukraine must be built on historical truth, and such events as "genocide in Volhynia" can not be forgotten.
