The ceremony of awarding the prestigious award "Football Stars of Ukraine - 2017".

The organizers defined the winners in 5 nominations - the best player, coach, young performer, referee and futsal player.

In the nomination "the best player of the season" the 1st place was taken by the Ukrainian midfielder of the Donetsk "Shakhtar" Marlos, who in the vote ahead of the former winger of Dynamo Kyiv, and now Dortmund Borussia Andrey Yarmolenko and his team-mate Fred. In 2017, Marlos held for the "miners" 41 duel, in which he managed to score 12 goals and 9 assists.

In the nomination "Best Coach of the Year" the award was given to the coach of FC Shakhtar Paulo Fonsec, who together with his players won the gold medals of the championship and won the Super Cup of the country. The Portuguese beat Yuri Vernidub (Zarya) and Roman Sanzhar (Olimpic). Recall that in the season of 2017/18 "Shakhtar" goes to the first place in the standings of the ULE, and also managed to reach the 1/8 finals of the Champions League.

The best young performer was the midfielder of Dynamo Viktor Tsygankov, who won the fight for this award from Viktor Kovalenko (Shakhtar) and Andrei Lunin (Zarya). In 2017, the 20-year-old midfielder spent 33 games for Kiev in all tournaments - he scored 8 goals.
