The total debts of the Super League participants exceeded 500 million euros, according to the audit company PwC.
In recent seasons, Chinese clubs have shaken the market with the transfer of players such as Oscar, Hulk, Carlos Tevez, Alex Teixeira and Ramirez, who moved to the local championship for huge sums.
According to the report, the income of KSL clubs exceeded 900 million euros, but the spending exceeded 1.4 billion euros.
The main sources of income last season were sponsorship agreements that brought clubs 64% of the money. Another 14% was received from telenetranslation, 11 - from sales of football players, 6 - government subsidies, 3% - proceeds from ticket sales and on match day and 2% from other sources.
