Russia will pay IOC $ 15 million

As reported by the publication "Championships", this includes the costs incurred by the IOC in the course of investigations, as well as the contribution to the establishment of an independent doping testing organization for building an integral and global anti-doping system.

It is noted that among other decisions of the main Olympic body - a lifetime disqualification of the former Russian Minister of Sports, and now the vice-premier of the Russian government, Vitaly Mutko.

In addition, the current president of the Kontinental Hockey League, ex-director of the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee, Dmitry Chernyshenko from the Coordination Commission of the Olympics in Beijing in 2022.

As previously reported in URA-Inform, Russia was not allowed to participate in the 2018 Olympic Games in South Korean Pyeongchang. However, an exception will only be made for athletes who are clean in terms of doping. They can compete under the neutral (Olympic) flag.
