In the Sverdlovsk region will create a territorial representation of the innovation center Skolkovo. It will appear on the basis of the Technopark "Universitetskiy". The corresponding agreement was signed by Skolkovo Vice-President Yury Saprykin and Denis Skomorokhov, General Director of the University Technopark "Universitetsky", communicated to the Governor's DIP.

The head of the region Evgeny Kuyvashev noted that the creation of a regional office of Skolkovo will promptly introduce advanced ideas, help prospective science-intensive enterprises to "give a worthy response to all global challenges".

"The Sverdlovsk region is a pilot region in which we plan to establish all effective processes of our close interaction with the subjects of the Russian Federation. We would like all the standard and services of the Skolkovo Foundation to become a property of both the University Park and its residents, "said Yury Saprykin.

He also added that the Sverdlovsk region is one of the leaders by the number of residents of the Skolkovo Foundation, now they are 47.
