At the 36th minute of the fight there was an unpleasant episode with the participation of midfielder Ruslan Malinovsky. The Ukrainian midfielder brushed aside his opponent, cuddling his elbow in the face, for which he immediately saw a red card in front of him.

According to the official website of the Football Association of Belgium, Ruslan received three match disqualification and was further punished by a fine of 800 euros.

In turn, Genk does not agree with this decision and has already appealed in an attempt to appeal him.
