During the search, law enforcement officers seized ten kilograms of processed sun stone, as well as five stone processing machines. According to the press service of the National Police of Ukraine, the cost of one kilogram of products on the "black" market ranges from 1.5 to three thousand dollars.

At the same time, the workshop, which was located in one of the villages of the Zhitomir district, had both a processed stone and untreated amber. The premise was rented by one of the local entrepreneurs, and sold its products outside Ukraine.

All persons involved in unlawful activities are established.

Recall, as reported URA-Inform, September 22, 2017 at the checkpoint "Borispol" customs officers detained a batch of amber in 12 kilograms, which they tried illegally to export to China.
