Volyn appointed Viktor Bogatyr as head coach of the first team.

Ukrainian coach Victor Bogatyr became the head coach of Volyn, said the official website of the Lutsk club.

In this post he replaced Albert Shakhov. The team started the season under the leadership of Yaroslav Komzyuk.

The last place of work of the 48-year-old Bogatyr was FC Mir (Gornostaevka) from the Second League, and before that he trained Veres, Ingulets, Alexandria, Gorniak and Palmira, and also worked in Moldovan Nistru, Gagauzia and Sfintul Gheorghe.

Also Volyn announced the appointment of Valentin Koshernik for the position of sports director. At the same time, Vitaly Kvartsyany will remain president of the club.

After 22 matches Volyn scored 18 points and takes the penultimate place in the standings of the First League.
