Thus, the regulator canceled the allowances for banks that were introduced in the period of sharp deterioration of the economic situation, a significant devaluation of the national currency and events in the Crimea and the Donbass. As it is said on the official website of the National Bank of Ukraine, this is due to the fact that the negative consequences of this impact have already been identified by banks and taken into account in their plans for measures to bring their performance indicators to the regulatory requirements that are now being implemented.

At the same time, the National Bank believes that positive changes are already taking place, since the hryvnia rate has stabilized, the liquidity situation in the banking system has improved.

At the same time, for banks that still lead their performance indicators to regulatory requirements, a moratorium has been extended to apply measures of influence for violation of these indicators and restrictions on the implementation by certain banks of certain types of banking operations.

Recall, as reported URA-Inform, February 24, 2015, the National Bank introduced a number of credits for banks in connection with the depreciation of the hryvnia after February 6.
