Weather forecasters warn that as a result of precipitation, on the rivers of the Transcarpathian region, water levels are expected to increase by 0.3-1 meters. The press service of the State Service of Ukraine for Emergencies reports that today in the lower reaches of the rivers Latoritsa and Borzhava it is expected to raise the water level by one to two meters above the current levels, without negative consequences.

Weather forecasters also remind of rain and wet snow in the western regions of Ukraine throughout the whole of today.

As reported URA-Inform, the State Emergency Committee asks residents of Transcarpathia and Ivano-Frankivsk region to refrain from mountain travel, because in the eastern part of Transcarpathia, in connection with the approach of the frosty cyclone that formed in the north in the Baltic Sea, a significant avalanche hazard is expected. The level of danger, according to the forecasts of rescuers, will fluctuate at the limit of two or three points.
