Their legion. They call themselves Ukrainians. They call themselves indigenous Kievans. They say that they glorify Ukraine. That they love her. Famous former and real football players, famous "not your war" singers and singers, touring in Russia, former racing drivers, humorists, owners of tabloids, etc..

But at the same time they say that outside politics. Or, that we are one people. Or that everything is not so clear. Or that we still need to be on good terms with our neighbors. They rarely speak directly about the war and who is the aggressor. And so on - a large vinaigrette.

Maybe I'm wrong (but I'm sure they do not), they do not feel heartache when they think about what happened in Lviv in 1939. When the Soviets came and began to simply shoot the color of the Nation in the inner prisons. Thousands of Ukrainian writers, artists, philosophers, musicians were simply destroyed.

They have a heart ache from pain, are there tears in their eyes when they imagine how people from Western Ukraine or Crimean Tatars in cattle cars were driven to Siberia? With young children, old people? Because the Soviets knew that these people were simply impossible to conquer. I think no.

Do they have anger when they think about how Moscow for three hundred years either bought or destroyed Ukrainian Hetman who wanted Ukraine to be free?.

Do they have pride in the UPA soldiers who, until the 1960s, continued to fight the Soviets, even knowing that there was no prospect of defeating the devil? Because the devil is stronger. I think they do not have pride for such Ukrainians.

What else should the devil do with Ukraine to wake up? So that they could not take a single ruble from the enemy?.

Where is their Ukrainian memory? Where are their genes of freedom?.

Or are they all grandchildren of the NKVDists?.

Why they will not become the conscience of the nation? Support the people? A moral orientation? Support?.

Why do Lithuanians or Canadians like Ukraine more than this "color" of the nation?.

These are all rhetorical questions.

But can someone think about it. What is Ukraine for me? Territory? Passport? Sing the hymn? Wrap the flag and beat the soldier-conscript under the Rada?.
