As Chubarov noted, the Mejlis strongly condemns the assassination of the activist of the Crimean Tatar national movement Vedzhie Kashki by the Russian invaders and calls on the Ukrainian law enforcement bodies to make every effort to bring the perpetrators to justice in the framework of national and international judicial institutions.

In his statement, he also called on international organizations and governments around the world to increase pressure on the Russian Federation.

In addition, it is noted that the Mejlis requires the Russian occupation authorities to immediately stop all oppression of human rights on the peninsula, and immediately and unconditionally release the illegally annexed Crimea.
