Recently in the Chinese city of Tianjin opened a public library with a futuristic design, which was admired by many media and Internet users. In the central hall of the institution is a huge white ball, and all the walls are filled with bookshelves that smoothly pass into the ceiling. The photos of the interiors of the building quickly began to gain viral popularity in social networks - the library was called the "ideal place for reading" and the "dream of bibliophiles".
Now it turned out that in reality everything is not quite as described, writes birdinflight. In fact, the city authorities banned publishing books in the central hall - all editions are stored in other rooms with ordinary book shelving. And those books that were depicted in numerous photographs - just their pictures, which were glued to the walls behind the shelves. The library explained that the central hall is great for reading books, but not for their storage.
The fact that there are no real books on the shelves, many found out only when they themselves came to the institution. "Today I went to the Binhai library, which everyone is talking about so much. But ... most books on the shelves are fake, "- wrote one of the Internet users. "There is a big difference between photos and reality," added one more visitor to the library.
