This was reported by the press service of the regional department of the State Service of Ukraine for Emergency Situations.

As the rescuers told, a resident of the house with the help of a gas cylinder tried to ignite a heating boiler, but allowed a leak of gas from the cylinder that broke out. Thus, because of the explosion, there was a violation of the rules of fire safety in the operation of domestic gas appliances.

"As a result of the explosion, two people were injured, a 73-year-old man and his 68-year-old wife," the statement said..

It is also known that both victims with numerous burns were hospitalized in Zhashkovskiy district hospital.

Recall, as previously reported, "URA-Inform", in one of the Kharkov apartment buildings about four o'clock in the evening there was an explosion. Inhabitants of the house called a group of rescuers, on the scene of the accident departed the divisions of the Department of Emergency Situations of the 4th branch to the AC and 2 ADs.
