Representatives of the Christian Democratic Union bloc, together with the Free Democratic Party and the Union-90 Greens, failed to complete preliminary consultations on the establishment of the ruling coalition.
It is noted that the parties agreed to continue consultations today, on November 17, at 12:00 local time.
Thus, the preliminary negotiations on the establishment of the Jamaica coalition in Germany are to be completed this week, but their participants have a number of controversial issues in which no one wants to compromise.
The greatest disagreement among the participants in the consultations is related to the themes relating to refugees and combating climate change. One of the most controversial issues is the reunion of refugee families.
Principal disagreements also raise questions about the abandonment of coal energy. At the same time, less controversial topics are discussed: taxation, education, the labor market, the pension system, health and safety.
