As reported by Armenian media, servicemen of the Russian military unit in Gyumri bypass the quarters with a photo of a missing soldier and ask the tenants whether they saw him.

Officials have not yet expressed their attitude to the issue.

Information on the loss of a soldier was confirmed in the Shirak regional police department of Armenia.

"According to some reports, serviceman Dmitry Loshmanov went shopping on April 16 and did not return," the representative of the regional administration of RIA Novosti quotes.

A soldier was a contractor and lived in a hostel, Armenian media writes.
