The suspect in the series of brutal murders of Takahiro Shiraishi, who is called the "Killer from Twitter", lured publishers of suicidal posts of users of social networks and chopped off their heads. In total, he beheaded nine people aged 15 to 26 years, according to the Daily Mail.
The police detained Shiraishi during the investigation of the disappearance of a 23-year-old girl who on the eve informed Twitter about her intention to commit suicide. On her post a maniac responded, who promised the girl to help with suicide and commit suicide for the company. At the same time, law enforcement officials contacted her and asked to arrange a meeting with Siraishi, where they detained the suspect. In his apartment in the suburbs of Tokyo were found the remains of those who disappeared a month earlier.
In turn, the Twitter administration introduced a new rule, which states that users are not allowed to promote and encourage suicides. The fight against suicides also involved the Japanese government. According to the chief secretary of the Cabinet, it is planned to support young people who place suicidal posts in social networks.
