Secrets of incredible weight loss

Anna Douglas - one of the most popular Canadian writers, mother of four children and author of more than a dozen books. A year ago, she firmly decided to lose weight. Losing weight was for her a real "odyssey", which she described in her latest work - "The incredibly slimming woman", which became a best-seller in Canada. We contacted Anna and asked her to share her secrets of losing weight.

- Anna, how much have you already lost weight? And what weight are you planning to lose?.

- Officially I broke up with 74 pounds (1 pound = 0.453 kg. - Prim. red. ), but, I must admit, on a trip to support my new book last month, five of them returned to me. So now I'm trying to get rid of them. I was planning to lose 106 pounds. This is exactly at the top of the normal range for a person with my BMI weight. Now, after going through the years of fighting overweight and remembering all the difficulties, I believe that this is the most real and healthy for me weight.

- What is the main reason for your decision to lose weight? What was the starting point for changing yourself?.

- I began to think about the health risks that arose due to an extra hundred pounds, and was greatly frightened. Really scared. This moment coincided with the performances on TV. I was shocked at how I look on the screen. I, as a writer, needed to regularly appear on TV. And I wanted to feel comfortable under the light of the soffits and not worry that the camera will show me at an unfortunate angle. Honestly, when I weighed 256 pounds, any angle was unsuccessful. A lot of women, from whom I interviewed for my book, talked about similar reasons: the desire to feel good, to look good, well, psychological reasons, of course. I had obesity for ten years before I decided to do something against extra pounds.
