Robbers carried a suitcase with precious stones. According to preliminary data, the value of the stolen is one million pounds sterling.
According to the press service of the British Transport Police, the incident occurred around seven in the evening local time. The 35-year-old injured boarded a train at Euston Station to travel to Birmingham New Street.
He put his suitcase on the luggage rack, but when the train arrived in Rugby town, he found that the bag had disappeared. In this case, the police believe that the suitcase, most likely, kidnapped even before sending the train from the station in Euston.
The man claims that in the bag were precious stones, including rubies, emeralds and sapphires. Now the officers are looking for the man shown on the surveillance camera frames, since he can have information that can help the investigation.
Recall, as reported URA-Inform, in August in Rivne, attackers stole a bag from the car with almost a million hryvnia. The driver of the car was in the cabin during the accident and was not injured.
