Already in 2018, a springboard will open on Vorobyovy Gory, which because of its terrible condition is under repair. This was announced by the deputy mayor of Moscow on the issues of town-planning policy and construction Marat Khusnullin. According to him, after the upgrade, the ski slope will meet the highest standards, which means that it can be used for prestigious competitions. Moreover, on its basis a whole cluster for sports fans will be built. Next to the springboard will build a sports school for children and boys. "In fact, a historically established sports zone is recreated - both for professional training and for sports for Muscovites," Khusnullin said in an interview with Interfax. On this the authorities of Moscow do not intend to stop: in the next five years in the capital will build five more slopes for skiers. As the head of the Construction Complex specified, the springboards will be built in Shipilovsky, Sevastopol and Novo-Peredelkino districts, as well as in Zarechye and Kurkino.

All this will significantly expand the possibilities of citizens, who enjoy great popularity in mountain skiing.
